Announcement

This is the first post-jam update, so I tried to address some of the feedback from the game jam ratings around gameplay. I also added some features that I didn’t have time for during the jam. In addition to gameplay and quality-of-life features, I added some new tilesets and background sprites, since the world felt a little empty before.

If Cloud Keeper is something you’d want to play as a full game, let me know!

Change Log

  • Created 2 new enemy types: bat and slime
  • Added level selector with unlockable different difficulty levels
  • Added background art and tilesets, including rocks, tree, cliff edge
  • Improved UI, including textures, visual/audio feedback, layout, etc
  • Added key rebinding to settings
  • Updated storm animation to include the screen going darker with a slight flash for lightning
  • Updated some sound effects
  • Splash screen
